Our client was a young couple, both working remotely, who needed a two-person office for their daily work. Due to their heavy workload, the clients were looking for comprehensive interior design and finishing support to ease the time burden and get a turnkey solution.
Their aesthetic preferences oscillated between a stylish French townhouse look and modern, functional solutions. We began our work on the French-style apartment in the interior by carefully gathering the needs and expectations of the clients.
One of the main challenges was the arrangement of a small bathroom, where we had to fit a bathtub, sink, washer/dryer and toilet. With a creative approach, we were able to make maximum use of the available space while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Another challenge was to create a space that would combine French style in the interior with modern elements, while leaving it timeless. This required careful selection of materials and details, such as cornice moldings, stucco, high baseboards, and subdued colors broken by more intense accents.
The final result is an apartment that harmoniously combines modernized French style in the interior with modern solutions. Details such as cornice moldings, stucco and high skirting boards are characteristic of this project. The color scheme of the interior is subdued, with subtle touches of more intense colors, which, combined with appropriate lighting, creates a cozy and elegant atmosphere. The kitchenette has been kept in a darker tone of the fronts, providing a contrast to the rest of the apartment.
We used small tiles in the bathroom and kitchen, which add charm and emphasize the French style in the interior. We also created a large office for two workstations, with plenty of storage space for a comfortable and functional work space.
