Sunny apartment in segment with office for remote work

We were given a task: to realize a bright, ergonomic apartment in the segment

The owner of the apartment was to live in it with his partner, both working remotely, who needed a functional design for a two-level apartment in the segment. Their priority was an ergonomic kitchen with an island and table, as well as the use of lamellas in the interior design. Their motivation for working with us was the need for professional support in the arrangement and the many design suggestions we could offer.

The process of working on the apartment went smoothly, thanks to the owners’ quick decision-making. The client actively participated in every stage of the project, expecting our initiative and suggestions, which we offered in large numbers. We began by designing the functional layout, without changing the layout of the walls, which ensured optimal use of space. We then moved on to creating visualizations and selecting materials, which allowed the clients to see the potential end result. Finally, we prepared technical designs, which were used to implement the project.

One of the challenges was the ventilation in the kitchen, which was in a non-functional location. To solve this problem, we made an additional furniture development that allowed the ventilation to be aesthetically brought out. Another challenge was the aesthetic installation of the gas stove, which is a common problem in interior projects. In this case, we used an openwork door, which allowed us to hide the stove while maintaining the elegant look of the bathroom.

The final result is a harmoniously designed two-level apartment that meets all the clients’ expectations. The lower level of the apartment is kept in a light color scheme, which gives it spaciousness and freshness, while the upper level is darker. The sunniest room upstairs has been designated as an office with two workstations, providing a comfortable environment for remote work. In the kitchen, we designed two posts on the sides, and placed the table right next to the island, making the island seem to flow into the table, creating a cohesive and functional space. The owner is very fond of laths, so they were used in the living room, in the grooves of the kitchen cabinets and in a black version in the office. In addition, we used an openwork door for the gas stove, which not only hides it, but also adds lightness and elegance to the interior.
