Our client was a young IT professional who wanted to create a maximally functional apartment for one or two people. His vision included a modern interior with a touch of loft, kept in a dark color scheme. The client wanted to repeat the day-night blinds and create two offices: one for remote work and DIY, the other for leisure time in front of the computer.
The client had an elaborate style and vision for the interior. The priority was the quality and durability of the materials. The client made decisions quickly, which allowed for smooth progress. We met frequently to evaluate the materials in person.
The main challenge was to create a functional space with lots of closed cabinets. In the kitchen, we used quartz sinter on the countertop and kitchen apron, which allowed us to install an undermount sink, minimizing the space for cleaning. To create a mini home theater, we used blackout curtains and Roman blinds. Audio equipment was placed in the built-in furniture behind the sofa, which also serves as a place for drinks.
The client wanted to use a urinal in the toilet, which is rare in apartments. We relocated the entrance to the utility room, creating space for a closet in the hallway with room for a cleaning robot. We made the door to the utility room from a furniture board, integrated with the cladding, which hides the passage.
The final result is a modern apartment with a touch of loft. Light and dark elements create a harmonious space that is stylish and functional. The kitchen with quartz sintering and vintage gold handles is elegant. The living room with a mini home theater provides a unique experience. The utility room and hallway are functional and aesthetically pleasing. The lamella wall in the office provides privacy and maintains visual order. Thanks to our cooperation, the client received an apartment that combines modern style with loft elements, meeting all his requirements and expectations.
